End of 2019 harvest: so much grenache!

13 October 2019

Our 2019 harvest, started on September 08 with our small Viognier of la Martelle in Siran, very beautiful and productive this year, ended on October 11 with our plot of old carignan of 1969 of La Galine, in La Livinière. Harvest every day for the last three weeks, which is very unusual. The abundant rains of September 22 did not simply have an impact on the harvest calendar. They also allowed Grenache berries to grow considerably, and thus expect unusual yields for this later grape variety than Syrah. The quality is there also with plots: cuvées, which « taste » well.

The winemaking process is going optimally so far, and the winery is full.
