End of the harvest 2018 for Les Combes Hidden this Friday, October 12, 2018.

From August 31 to October 12, 15 days of harvest for Les Combes Cachées spread out over a period of 43 days… Such a spread in time perfectly illustrates our desire to harvest each parcel, each terroir, each grape variety, with perfect ripeness. We managed it, with big emotions for this last week with the strong rainy event that hit our vineyard on the 9th and 10th of October, just at the end of our harvest of Grenache Noir. But the nearly 100mm of rainfall fell between Monday evening and Wednesday have not damaged the last Grenache. Which are superb. A great year of Grenache. We just had some fright to get out of our flooded plots with our harvest.

But the first tastings in the cellar are really very promising …
